Holidays with the Cellone Family
What is a traditional Italian Holiday dinner like?
Here at Cellone’s, our traditional Italian holiday dinner usually consists of ham, vegetables, and a pasta dish. Every Italian family has its standard food items for the holidays, and one of our family favorites is lasagna, and of course, there will be wine, either red or white. Lastly, we also serve Cellone’s Italian garlic bread or a side of Cellone’s Italian sliced bread. Making our Italian garlic bread is simple all you have to do is
Cellone’s frozen garlic bread in a conventional oven:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Remove garlic bread from the bag
- Place frozen bread on a cookie sheet with the garlic spread face up on the middle rack
- Heat 7 to 10 minutes or until bread is heated through

Three Cheese Lasagna Recipe:
What ingredients are needed?
- 1 lb ground beef- Not a fan? You can use Italian sausage, ground turkey, or a plant-based ground “meat” option.
- 32 oz of pasta sauce- use your favorite jarred or your homemade version!
- 2 Eggs
- 2 TBSP milk
- 15-17 dried lasagna noodles
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated provolone cheese
Instructions:
- First, preheat the oven to 360 degrees—grease a 13×9 baking dish.
- Boil lasagna noodles according to package directions.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain. Mix beef with pasta sauce and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Why eggs and milk? This mixture will help keep your lasagna holding together.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce/meat mixture on the bottom of the dish. Then, add a layer of noodles. Spread noodles with egg mixture, then add a layer of cheese.
- Repeat layers.
- Cover and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until slightly bubbly.
- Let your lasagna cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
